td4stage
Hello All, I have a nice image of a piece of marble that I'd like to use (jpg, 150dpi, 600x600pixels). I create a texture, filtered image, and apply it to an extrude with fill set to solid. The extrude is textured, but with hundreds of tiny squares of my image texture. If I resize it up, then it just makes bigger squares and loses some of the detail. Is there a way to setup an image that makes a better texture? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks, Quote Link to comment
Guest
When creating the texture, you can assign the size of the texture. That may help a little bit. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
If I understand the problem, you need to create a seamless texture. Photoshop has a filter that will do it. There are some free applications and info here. http://www.google.com/search?q=seamless+texture&rls=com.microsoft:*&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1 Quote Link to comment
