As it is we have to find the end point of the wall and drag it back to the point where we want to terimnate it. Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted February 25, 2000 Share Posted February 25, 2000 Mike: With 8.5.1 you simply draw the wall, cross it with a line, select the line and the wall, go to "tool," "trim," take the finger, hover over the line, click your mouse and the walls are now trimmed at that point. The command function works, not the trim tool on the palette. You can also use your object browser to reduce the length of a wall in the x or y field. You can use the Wall Heal tool to remove a miter, then in the object info palette place the cap on it to make it smooth.
