Multiple textures on walls

Is it possible to put multiple textures on a wall, for example, to have stone up to 7', and then shingles from 7' to the roof?

Use two walls. It can get a little tricky, but it's doable...

Or use a 'Split' Texture on one wall

Try drawing a line adjacent to the wall, extruding it to the heights you want and giving it a texture. There was a thread a while back about making curtains for scenery this way that worked pretty well. It is just one more thing to keep track of, though.

Using VW or Photoshop combine the bottom 'Rock' texture with the top 'Shingles'.

Scale the textures to match the wall.

OR

Draw a rectangle (with a 0 pen weight) the height of the wall for the first texture. Draw another rectangle directly below/above the height of the wall for the 2nd texture.

Use the Export Image menu to marquee export just the two rectangles.

Create a texture from the exported image using the RB.

I use 2 walls, stacked. Not ideal but I find it easier than than the alternatives. The facility to create wall styles of this nature would be a real boon, as it's not exactly a rare occurrence in our line of work.
