Viewport scale text

VP text rescales nicely when the VP is scaled with the Menu/Scale Objects command (Scale Text option must be checked). In this scenario, the OIP scale field for the Viewport updates to the new scale.

A text annotation in a Viewport does not rescale when the VP scale is changed via the OIP scale field.

However, one can rescale design layer text shown in VP (Thanks to CBAARCH for pointing this out to me in another thread) . . .

In the Advanced Properties dialog of the Viewport OIP, one can numerically alter the scale of text, arrowheads, line weight, hatch line weight. Changes in Advanced Properties values do not affect Viewport annotations, rather they affect the view of text, arrowheads, etc on the design layers referenced by the VP. This does not alter the design layer objects, only the VP view of them.

It seems to me that the text, arrowheads, etc should rescale when the VP scale is changed in the OIP.

that should be a wishlist item: viewport anotations to scaled as the objects on the design layer.
