HuntlyPO
We are looking at finally replacing our ancient HP 500ps. We use Macs with OS 10.4 and are still limping along with VW11.5. Anyone tried out the new NP T1100 plotter? Is it faster? How about the embedded PostScript 3 RIP? Does that mean we don't need the T1100ps? not really sure what that all means. Help? Suggestions? Many thanks huntly Quote Link to comment
0 HuntlyPO
Anyone out there using an HP T1100? Especially with Mac's. We are about 100 miles from the nearest reseller of HP plotters, so we need to rely on recommendations from you kind folks. Thanks for any and all advice. Quote Link to comment

0 nicoloco
T1100PS anyone? Any news? Quote Link to comment
0 Skip Belton
Yes - T1100ps works fine for us. Installed in March 2008 to replace out HP 1050C. Quicker, replot, postscript, better colour. Five networked Macs, + 2 laptops, all running VW2008. Quote Link to comment
0 MaxStudio
Any more news on the T1100? Good/Bad? We are also planning on upgrading from the old 755cm. The specs say 35sec per page (24x36) in economy mode... is that correct? how is the quality in economy mode? How long do plots take in normal or high quality? Can you plot using only black even if the color catridges are empty? Quote Link to comment
0 monkey
we recently bought the T1100 and it works well, we have 25+ macs networked and 3 PCs with no problems what so ever. prints quickly, and can achieve great colour quality. economy mode is great for simple line drawings and BW prints, and it can print as quick as they say. High quality prints do take their time, but are well worth it when you tweak everything to the max and use high quality paper. Its the best plotter i have ever used Quote Link to comment
