12.5 -> Miserably long printing 1055CM from Mac

Good afternoon...I have read numerous posts over time about this, but can't figure out what sometimes I literally can't get something to print on my plotter. I even try to make a pdf of it to print and it doesn't print (or takes hours.) Is there anything I can do?

I am on a MBP printing to a HP 1055CM with latest VW.

Use Console to take a look at your CUPS Log file. You will discover that the rastorize part happens really fast, but that the print connection is most likely your problem.

While connected to the net use this URL http://127.0.0.1:631/

Recall that your Mac prints using CUPS and the PPD for your printer.
