keyboard shortcut for smart cursor cues?

Is there one? I seem to keep turning them off by accident, which is mildly annoying.

Snap to Object is assigned "q"

Smart Points is "d"

You can modify the shortcuts for the Constraints palette tools using the Workspace Editor under the MISC tab.

Thanks Katie, but I think I wasn't clear enough. What is turning off is the whole SmartCursor Cue--so I do not get little tags saying "object" or "center" or whatever. Just a little dot appears.

I have looked around and can't find a short cut for this feature--which is in VectorWorks Preferences.

If you are not seeing the words, but you do see a plus sign with a dot, that's screen cues.

If you don't see the words nor a plus sign w/ a dot when snapping to an object, that's Snap to Object & Smart Points.

Try turning the two constraints off to see what you get.

If you are getting screen hints, just not the word, then somehow the "Smart Cursor Cues" under the Edit tab in VectorWorks Options has been turned off.

In my version "y" toggles cues on and off.

This has been a low lying annoyance and I haven't been able to track it down. Clearly I have been hitting y by accident.

Nice to have one problem solved.
