Horizontal board textures should align

P Retondo

Question

When horizontal board textures are applied to walls, they often don't line up from wall to wall because they are applied with reference to the object instead of "world" coordinates. This could be corrected if, similar to how pattern fills are aligned from object to object, the default alignment of wall textures is to the ground plane instead of to some point on the object.

Whatz required is an ObjectFillLocus {similar to Symbol Insertion Locus} which can be situated by the User to set the control point of the Pattern-Hatch-Image-Texture map.

The mapping algorithm could then use the ObjectFillLocus to orient in 'real-time' via programmable XYZ coordinates.

Good suggestion!
