Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted May 6, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 6, 2007 Am I right in thinking that I can't set a render for a hardscape in 3D, other than a solid fill? I am creating a pad, but unable to use the textures that I use on the rest of the 3D drawing. It just continues to stare at me in bland greyness. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Try creating a unique Class for the Hardscape with the required Texture assigned to it. Then make the Hardscape that class. I couldn't get a texture to work directly for me either. This method worked though. Note: any border you created in the 2D view will not be there in the 3D view. If you want to see the border in 3D you will need to model it separately using the Pathway mode of the Hardscape tool. Quote Link to comment
