boundnorth
My Basic tool palette has gone missing. All other palettes appear/close when checked/unchecked under Windows Menu, but Basic tools don't appear when checked. What did I hit? I did go into the Workspace Editor but didn't see anything addressing visibility. Any thoughts on how I can get my basic tools back? The Basic Tool Palette DOES appear in the Landmark Classic Workspace - just not in Landmark. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
boundnorth
Yes, I've tried several restarts. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
What about closing all your other palettes, toolsets and windows? Long shot but it might be hiding behind the others, or maybe off screen a little? Quote Link to comment
boundnorth
Tried that and no luck. I will probably have to reload the program, but I wish I knew what I inadvertantly hit to make the palette disappear. Or what I could do to make it reappear. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Only thing I think of is that you accidently deleted it from within the Workspace Editor, except that you say it's still in the WIndows > Palettes menu. If you'd deleted it from with the Workspace Editor you wouldn't see it in the Windows > Palettes menu. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Try setting your screen resolution as high as possible, maybe its off screen. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
one trick I use is to quick VectorWorks. reset the screen resolution to a smaller size restart VectorWorks if you can see the palette then reset the screen resolution to the correct setting Quote Link to comment
Guest
Or the palette could have been pushed all the way off the drawing window. Try switching to a different workspace to see if it's there. Otherwise, copy the Landmark workspace from the "backup" folder (in the workspace folder) up to the workspace folder. Quote Link to comment
boundnorth
Thanks all. Still can't find it but I just saved my drawing files and reinstalled the program. Quote Link to comment
