How can I re-order my worksheet/plant list so that the plant entries read alphabetically? I created a new worksheet rather than using the VW defaults, if that makes any difference to an answer. Thanks.

Use one of those ridiculous little Sort tags in the worksheet column header.

Drag it onto the column to sort <>

in the upper right corner of the worksheet, select the "Database Headers". this will show the formula bar in the worksheet. Next, Click on the row that contains the formulas, and only then will you be able to select the 'sort ascending' or 'sort decending' items. drag and drop them onto the columns you wish to sort in the order you wish to sort them.
