Ummm...it might only be part of Architect, not Fundamentals, but the wonderful parametric Bolt and Nut Objects in Detailing Menu? Maybe have to be included in Workspace Editor?

Some of VW Machine Design's nuts, bolts etc. are available in the VectorWorks Machine Design Sampler file. In my version it is located in the VectorWorks Basic sub-folder in the Sampler Folder in the VectorWorks Libraries folder.

Thanks Islandmon. But How is it made? I edited the bolt you gave and it broke down into a small polygon. I would like to know if sweep; section solids; intersect solids etc. would work.

It was done by a sweep. Looked a little deeper into the file.

and download my fastener plugin. Works fine in mm. Should be fine in inches as well.

As this thread is 16 years old… and Vector Depot has also been gone for a long time… using the Wayback Machine I was able to find the ‘Fastener’ plug-in file for download at the following page:

@szeevi,  What are you actually looking for. There is likely a better way than a 16 year old plug-in that is no longer supported.
