John H Posted February 6, 2000 Share Posted February 6, 2000 Clipping surfaces in a Vectorworks file which has an auto cad file imported in it takes minutes when it should be instantaneous. Is there any reason for this or any workaround? Quote Link to comment

Guest Posted February 7, 2000 Share Posted February 7, 2000 You might want to check your 2D and 3D conversion resolutions before importing. If they are "high" or "very high" you might be getting very complicated polys which might slow down clipping.
