johncruet
Please review this knowledge base article http://kbase.nemetschek.net/index.php?ToDo=view&questId=99&catId=23 So what this means is I have to go hunting through several layers of directories in a remote location for the log file. There has to be a better way. And there is. In PowerCADD, for example, the log file is stored adjacent to the document you are working on- in the same folder. That is a far superior approach to the one VectorWorks uses. Quote Link to comment
beanus
now I know where it is I've created a short cut on the desktop, saves hunting for it Edited April 24, 2007 by beanus Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
[so what this means is I have to go hunting through several layers of directories in a remote location for the log file. Just drag the file to your Dock so it's always accessible. In PowerCADD, for example, the log file is stored adjacent to the document you are working on- in the same folder. No thanks, I don't want our job folders on the server being littered with log files. /Library/Application Support/ is a standard Mac OS X user interface. I like the fact that VectorWorks is a good Mac OS citizen. Quote Link to comment
