Marcelo
I am using 8.5 on a PowerMac with OS 9. Whenever I apply a texture to an object and try to map it to the object as soon as the mapping dialog box pops up the program frezzes and I have to force quit. Any suggestions how to fix the problem? Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted February 2, 2000 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 2, 2000 Try upgrading to QuickTime 4.1, use the full install. There was a similar problem on the PC that was caused by an error in QuickTime 4.0. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Unfortunately, I was unable to duplicate the problem you are having running on the same machine, same O/S and same version of Vector Works. Please make sure that you have Quick Time 4.x installed on your system, with all components installed. Also check your memory allocation to the Vector Works program. You may need to increase your preferred memory and lower your minimum to the Suggested Size. Please do not increase your Preferred Memory too much. By this, remember that your O/S requires approximately 30MB, plus any and all other programs running require memory (it is a good idea to shut down all other programs while running Vector Works). Vector Works partners with Quick Time to produce renderings, so there must be enough memory for QT to run as well as Vector Works. The larger the file you are working on and rendering, the larger the amount of memory is needed by both programs. If this doesn?t work, please try trashing your preferences for both Vector Works and Quick Time. Lastly, if these solutions do not resolve the issue at hand, or you need help in the process, please contact us at (410)-290-5114 or (410)-290-8050 (fax). Quote Link to comment
