Marietta
When working on plans using a survey plan as a base (with north pointed to the top of the page), and in the world coordinate system, is there any way to rotate the working plane or screen without having to rotate the drawing? I know we can rotate in a viewport on a saved sheet, but I would like to work on the drawing in the design layers with a rotation that makes sense. On some projects it makes sense to keep the base in the world coordinate system for coordination and especially if the client wants it this way as an end product. Quote Link to comment

P Retondo
Marietta, word is that NNA is working on providing the ability to rotate coordinate systems in an upcoming release. Right now, you can't easily do it, though there are workarounds - for example, you can create a layer link of your survey in your design layer, and rotate it so that it aligns the way you want. Marietta
I think the Rotate Draing from Vectorbits probably changes the coordinate system. Peter, I think your suggestion would work great until VW Provides that cabability. Thanks guys. Quote Link to comment
