dontevenjoke
I am getting used to the heliodon tool and the 'set sun position' view. Is there a way to have the local sun position set to light the building so it is at local angles and can be adjusted as in the helidon tool (Heliodon tool is an Australian Add-On I think??). Thanks for any feedback... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Simon, in the SET SUN POSITION dialog, SET the LAT/LONG for the specific site location, MAKE SURE to set NORTH as it is in real life (in relaton to your drawing), then set MONTH, DAY, and TIME as desired. Click OK and render with RENDER WORKS. True shadows will appear. One note: IF you have a SUN selected when you invoke the SET SUN POSITION command, you can adjust IT, but with no light selected the comman will create a SECOND (or tenth!) LIGHT... Have fun!
