Quiting commands

Unfortunately, there is no "hot key" to stop using a tool once you have begun.

The easiest way to do this is to simply finish the line or tool and hit the delete key. By default the object is already selected.

Also, "Command"(MAC)+ or "CTRL"(Win)+ "Z" is the hotkey for undo. This is handy if you need to undo a "view" command.
