Tomato_Trucker
How come when I click on an object in the Resource Browser, it scrolls to the top of the list? Happens in both thumbnail and list views. Once it happens, it goes away until I exit VW and return (I believe). A bug, or am I doing something wrong? Designer 12.5.1 Win XP Pro Quote Link to comment
GaryO1
It's not you. This is definitely a bug. I wish they could fix it, as when you have a lot of resources, it takes some time to find what you're looking for, and then - Whala - It jumps away - Real drag !!! the workaround is you just have to go back and click it again. It usually does'nt do it twice in a row. Quote Link to comment
SteveK
it takes some time to find what you're looking for, and then - Whala - It jumps away I usually just click on the very first object to get the jump out of the way. I agree that it is a pain to scroll way down a list just to jump back to the top again. Quote Link to comment
gScott
i've got another gripe with the browser; whenever i open a file the hatches + wall styles are ALWAYS open, no matter how often i close them before saving. occasionally some of the other folders "re-open" themselves, but the hatches + wall styles are persistent buggers... anyone else have this problem? BG
I have found that there are default hatches & wall styles that load every time you start VW. You can get rid of these by moving/deleting the files from these folders. \VectorWorks 12.5.0\Libraries\Defaults\Attributes - Hatches\ \VectorWorks 12.5.0\Libraries\Defaults\Walls\ Cheers BG Quote Link to comment
gScott
BG i don't have a problem with the "default content" being loaded, it's just the "folders" in the resource browser won't stay neatly closed up so you can navigate faster. i find i have to wade through all the hatches + sketch styles etc to get down to the worksheets. why can't they stay folded closed? BG
Hi Christiaan Good tip. We have replaced the default content files with ones that suit our office. Cheers BG Quote Link to comment
