Archicad import/export

I think that now that both software are under the same roof, it's time to put an import and export command on both software that can make them exchange designs without limiting the exchange trough dwg.

It would be much more beneficial if VW would support IFC (Industry Foundation Classes), so that it could exchange information with any CAD-program.

And fancy that: since 1 Jan 2007, all design work carried out to the public sector (state, municipalities) in Finland, has to be done with CAD-software that is IFC-compliant! No more VW here. In a couple of years, not anywhere in the EU...

Problem solved! Everyone has to use AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation, Allplan or ArchiCAD.

From what I can gather NNA are going down the PDF road for interoperability and exchange. Can't see how they can ignore IFC though.
