Often the purpose of a hatch is to overlay information that shows a general concept - like a room area. When we apply a hatch using the attributes palette, it also makes the object opaque with a white fill. This defeats the purpose of having overlapping information since it obscures or is obscured by other objects (like furniture, cabinets, fixtures). Could this be changed so that the boundary object remains without a background solid fill?
