Speedy Gonzales
Hi all, Has anyone ever created a wall style representing a glass block wall that will show up properly in plan and 3-D? And if so, how would you recommend I create it and add it to the library? I would like to use 8" or 12" square units. Thanks for any suggestions. Quote Link to comment
Kevin
I have done it. I simply created 3D glass blocks to scale and then place them with Duplicate Array. The rendering time in 3D is very long due to each block affecting the next one. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Another option is to create the wall using the wall tool, then use a glass block texture to give the effect of a glass wall without the long rendering times. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
For 2d use a simple hatch ... for 3d use katie's suggested "glass block' texture mapping. However, making a single glass block hybrid symbol using the above allows for an exact block count ... and produces very realistic walls. Quote Link to comment
