Don@Black Dog
Is there a way to change the style of a window transom, similar to the door transom with Int and Ext sashes? I seem to be missing something in the Settings menus. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
I submitted a bug for this a while back. Is it still there? http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=33940 Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
I thought so, I couldn't find mention of this with the search, but then the search function is such a catch-all it is hard to pin-point some things. Ouch. 4/4/06. Didn't make 12.5.1, I guess. Next time. Quote Link to comment
Robert Anderson
Christiaan, do you know the number of the bug? Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=33940[/url] From Christiaans post. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Christiaan, do you know the number of the bug? Don't know the number Robert (although I'd welcome being privy to such info). I sent an email to bugsubmit@nemetschek.net on 3 April, 2006 (5:01PM): Window PIO: The transom class appears to be None by default, without any way to change it. Quote Link to comment
ron
Any update on the fix for this bug? It would be nice to at least set the transom glazing to clear. Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Ron: set the "Sidelight Glazing" to a Style Glazing Class (in Settings/View). Set that class to your choice of the glazing options. The transom apparently is seen as a sidelight in certain instances. The glass in the door panels can be set by doing the same to the int. and ext. panels. HTH Quote Link to comment
ron
That doesn't seem to work for the sidelight or the transom. It does work for the int./ext. panels though. Am I doing something else wrong? Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Ron: I just did it and it worked fine. Are you remembering all the steps, especially making sure you have assigned it to the sidelights, etc, then going to Organization and setting up the glazing layers with the right glass, (clear. Blue is not see through, unfortunately)? Is this a PIO? It may also make a difference if rendering in Hidden line versus openGL etc. Edited April 6, 2007 by blackdogarch Quote Link to comment
