J. Miller
If I place a fixture on the floor and a focus object above (uplight) the draw beam check box produces an error stating that the "verical angle must be greayer than xxx? ". Is there a work-around for this error? Thanks in Advance Jeff Miller BSL Productions Quote Link to comment
td4stage
Do you have the fixture set to a z-height? The drawn beam tool won't work until it is up off the floor and "hanging" on the pipe. Hope this helps, Pat Quote Link to comment
michaelk
You can't shoot sideways or up with an instrument. You can work around it if you use the light tool to create a directional light with the same beam and field angles as the instrument you want to use. The directional light will focus in any direction. You can approximate a color, but it won't take a gel color. Quote Link to comment
J. Miller
I wonder if it will ever be possible to show a beam on an "uplight" in future releases? The draw beam tools is a great to to use before doing a rendering, to make sure the lights are in the right place. Jeff Quote Link to comment
