Ubi
I am running the latest version of VW on my Mac and twice now I have had corrupt files. The first time the program crashed and the second time this happened it actually told me that the file has become corrupt and to save it to another location which I did. Is this a problem with the latest software? To the best of my knowledge, both times this has happened has been after updating to 12.5.1 Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment
eric.rktek
We've had this happen to us several times with no good resolution except to maintain backup files. Quote Link to comment
Jim Smith
Here is a note from the Canadian VW supplier: "FATAL ERROR in VectorWorks 12.5.1 (64620) Macintosh If you are running VectorWorks 12.5.1, please check the number in brackets. The first release of VectorWorks version 12.5.1(64620) will corrupt your files when you back them up. You should have VectorWorks version 12.5.1(65397) installed, instead." You might want to check this out. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
The first time the program crashed and the second time this happened it actually told me that the file has become corrupt and to save it to another location which I did. This happened to me the other day, for the first time (at least that I know of). Thankfully I was able to eventually save a copy of the drawing I had open before closing it. Quote Link to comment
