LarryAZ
I can't find a palm tree in these very realistic trees. Am I just missing it or are there any desert type palms somewhere. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Larry, Look in the RB Folder called 02_Sitework_Trees. There are palms at the bottom. Have fun! Edited January 25, 2007 by CipesDesign Quote Link to comment

alanmac
If you are happy to use an image rather than a 3D model there is a palm available here complete with alpha mask, as a free sample. http://www.realworldimagery.com/Samples/sample.html Alan Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
There are more xfrog palm trees here: http://www.xfrogdownloads.com/greenwebNew/products/productStart.htm Look in the African and Tropical libraries. Vectorworks is not one of their preconfigured options. At a guess you will have to import the 2D image and create your own image prop. Edited January 25, 2007 by mike m oz Quote Link to comment
LarryAZ
Hey thanks for all the info. I really do want to be able to use these as 3D symbols. The xfrog trees make the standard sitework_trees really look like cartoons in a 3D render. The xfrog trees have no 2D except a cross but are so real and cast great shadows in final renderworks. Mike are you saying these xfrog symbols are called "image props"? If so where does it describe how to make these? Thanks Quote Link to comment
