outlawdesign
Hi, After years of hand drafting, I've recently begun drawing construction documents primarily in VW, but I'm struggling to draft efficiently and to produce elevations and sections. I'm wondering if anyone in my area would be willing to consult with me about VW. I live in Charlottesville, Virginia. If someone would be willing who doesn't live near me, I'd be willing to consider phone consultations. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Peter Eichel
Ruth, when I purchased VW's Designer, it was recommended that, as a new user, I should also purchase the VW's Architect Learning Series CD which I did for $99 Cnd. I think it was a worthwhile investment, however, the VW's forum and good old practice also helped. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
Ruth, my manuals have helped a lot of people, and I'm biased so I think they are a better investment than the Nemetschek North America learning series CD's. https://plus36.safe-order.net/archoncad/manuals/manuals.php Even though I do not live in your area i have been consulting on-line with users for several months now. The reuslts have been really good, so I think I could help you there. There is also an on-line user group that I run that would help you each moth to learn something about VectorWorks: http://web.mac.com/jpickup1/iWeb/Site/archoncad/FEDC24F7-9D24-4E8B-BDA7-CBB9105CFB6F.html Quote Link to comment
