Printing Problems

Question

I'm having no luck in printing to my HP Designjet 755cm from VW12.5. The printer displays that it's receiving the file but after hours and hours nothing prints. I can successfully print from VW11, with no problems. My only solution has been to save the VW12 file to a VW11 file and print. There used to be an option to print as a raster file in VW11 but I can find it in VW12. It's a very frustrating problem. Any thoughts?

You have to turn off Quartz imaging in the VW prefs to get the raster print option back.

Can you get info about the printer in the Print Center and see what driver you are using?

Also check out the size of the VW file you are printing. How large is the file?

Does it have a lot of imported images in the file?

I will try turning off the quartz imaging.

I'm using the HP post script driver that came with the printer, from HP's website.

The file is 1MB. The same file prints with VW11.

Can you print a new, blank document with a simple square in it?

Do any other VW project files print?
