Speedy Gonzales
Hi all, I have come upon a couple of situations where I'd like to issue a sketch drawing that crops an elevation (etc.) to ADD additional information for just that one drawing. I want to preserve the existing annotations on that viewport. I have a new Sheet that I call SK-xx for that issuance and will crop the view, but I can't figure how to preserve the existing annotations and then add new ones. Can you please suggest a method to do this? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Copy the existing VP and paste it in place in the new sheet layer. All of the annotations will come with. Then just add (or delete) annotaitions as desired. Remember: a VP is just a (very specialized type of) object. You can duplicate, rotate, move, (etc. etc.) it just like any other object. Petri
You could also make a copy of the layer and then modify the (temporary) copy. Quote Link to comment
cbaarch
Duplicate the sheet (select and right click when you are in the Navigation palette) this will give you an exact copy and will add a number after the sheet title that you gave it. rename to whatever then go in an edit/add to anotations Quote Link to comment
Speedy Gonzales
Woh. That's fantastic! I didn't think it would be so simple or as flexible. Thank you all so much, and to NNA as well for continuously putting out an outstanding product that actually makes the drudgery of drafting so much fun. Quote Link to comment
