mpkeane
Katie; Just starting a new thread off the Constant Crashes thread since there are a lot of (separate? related?) issues dealing with PDF problems. On VW 12.5.0 (mac OS 10.3.9) the batch PDF export does not seem to work at all, the single PDf export works with "light" files but complex files get corrupted, but (here's the strange part) if I go to Print, then choose Save as PDF, all files get converted nicely. Can't do a batch print that way though. I have already sent you by email my crash reports from PDF exports. Please let me know if they reveal anything. Has anyone else using OS 10.3.9 and VW 12.5 had trouble with PDF exporting? Marc Quote Link to comment
kcarter
I am having a PDF problem but not exporting. It is with print to PDF. If I print any size other than 8.5 x 11 it cuts off the drawing. Ever had this happen? Quote Link to comment
Guest
Kat, In the Page Setup window, make sure you have a printer page selected and the page size is set to ONE PAGE. Quote Link to comment
Donald Wardlaw
Hope this is pertinent. With fundamentals Export-PDF (Quartz only) works. Export PDF... does not. Is this a fundamentals vs. design series issue? FWIW, the pdf export is really good. Comparible to what I could do with distiller and better than using "Print pdf" in printer dialogue. Don't know why. MacOS 10.3.9. Regards, Donald Quote Link to comment
Guest
If you are not logged in as the administrator, then the export will not work. This is a bug currently being addressed for the next maintenance update. Quote Link to comment
Donald Wardlaw
Hi Katie, Don't know about the administrator issue. I am the administrator, but log in is automatic. I just turn the thing on and go to work. Regards, Donald Quote Link to comment
