Simple site plane tool

P Retondo

Question

For those situations where the DTM tool is just too much, especially where we have some site elevations but not a set of topo lines, I'd like a tool that will create a NURBS surface from a boundary polygon and a set of 3d loci. Ideally, this would be an interpolated surface that passes through the given points, so that we can add other nuances and otherwise edit as any other surface.

Islandmon, yes, good approach and one that I've tried, but I was looking for something that would be bounded well beyond the local points and basically interpolate a ground plane reaching away from the building.

But, I just thought of making a NURBS container at my desired boundary, then connecting the local plane you describe to the sides of the container. I'll let you know how that works out when I get a chance to try it.
