Don@Black Dog
When I import a PDF of a Word document (notes or specs)onto a Sheet Layer, the whole 8 1/2 x 11 page comes along. I would like to be able to crop it to reduce the space being taken, but cannot find a way. Any ideas? (I was hoping to import it directly to the sheet layer, rather than to a design layer, then make a viewport, etc...) Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
you can crop it in Photoshop before you import it... Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
... or use Graphic Coverter, or, if you have it, Acrobat. Just crop it to where you want it and save as another PDF. Quote Link to comment
Petri
Smaller margins in Word? Perhaps even a custom page size, if you want a narrow column. Edited November 16, 2006 by Petri Quote Link to comment
Guest
You can cut and paste the PDF from the Design Layer to the Sheet Layer once it's imported. Otherwise, you can import it do the Design Layer, make a VP of it on the Sheet layer and then crop the VP to the size you want using the Edit Crop mode of the Viewports. Quote Link to comment
