creating drapery

Recommended Posts

I need to create and render some swagged semi-sheer drapery. I need to be able to layout the way I want it to swag. A 'generic' swagged drape that i could copy and modify would be great, but I have little or no idea as to how to go about creating this.

Any suggestions? I'm pretty well familiar with most Spotlight functions, but haven't played with a lot of non standard object creation.

Once you have the profile, the rest is pretty easy.

Either extrude sections and place them in the right place,

or do an Extrude Along Path.

General questions like this are best put in the General section of the forum, or perhaps Architectural, where they have been discussed before.

Do a search and you'll find more specific and detailed answers.
