bclydeb Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 We have been recently experiencing a large slowdown on all of our machines with complex sections through a 5 level - 2 story over basement "Queen Ann" style house with a historically accurate addition. Our intel Duo core 2.66 Ghz 2GB RAM MacBook Pro and Dual 800 G4 (2.25GB RAM) render the sections the fastest. About 12 mins./section But our dual 2.5 G5 with 8GB takes an hour per section. Why should the supposedly "fast Mac" take so long to render and plot these sections? This started all of a sudden in VW12.5. Prior to VW12.5 (as in VW 12.0) all the machines Updated the sections and elevations in a minute or two on the same project. Quote Link to comment

Waht is the 3D conversion resolution in the preferences? If it his high, set it to low or medium. Are you using hidden line mode or some other render mode?
