0 Eugene Palmer
Hi, Judging by my recent failed attempt to get it running on an AMD AM2 x64 dual I must say it doesn't go. VW 12.5 will not even open, crashes out immediately. Windows first said to update Quicktime, but that did not change anyting. I had to go to Alladin to get the dongle to light up, which it eventually did after installing the HASP4 Win64 download and also the update, but VW still no worky. Curiously, VW does not show up in the Add/Remove Programs list. Windows XP Professional x64 edition version 2003, SP1 AMD 64 FX-62 Dual Core 2.81ghz, 4.00 gb ram Ah well, would have been nice. 0 Eugene Palmer
Hi, OK, now I'm curious. I am going to assume that VW v12.5 was never meant for 64 bit installation and that no "patch" will be available, but is there a v13 on the horizon that will be 64 bit / Vista capable? 0 belwood
I am having the same problem with Vista 64-bit. And like you said, it does not show up in the remove programs list! I guess I will have to revert to the 32-bit version. It's too bad, everything else appears to work fine. Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
VW 12.5.x is vista compatible. VW is not a 64 bit application as of yet. It will take advantage of the 32-bit emulator included in all 64-bit operating systems. This may result in some slowdowns as the emulator is sort of like an operating system running inside another operating system. Any problems occurring while using Vista should be reported to the testing team here: http://www.nemetschek.net/support/bugsubmit.php Edited March 6, 2007 by Katie Quote Link to comment
