samb'ham
Since I upgraded from 12.1 to 12.5: When I edit old windows and doors or install new ones, the object changes to one line weight (the class style). The "part line style" box is checked and each part has a different line weight selected, but that doesn't affect how the object displays. What am I missing? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Could it be that the windows and doors, or their respective parts, or both, have been assigned to a class and the "use class attributes" is overriding your line weights??? Quote Link to comment
samb'ham
The windows are in class "Windows-main" Do you mean the "use at creation" option? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Yes. Check to see if the "Windows-main" class has the "use at creation" box checked. If so, it could be causing your problem- Quote Link to comment
samb'ham
I've selected "No" & I'm not able to change the appearance of the window. Usually it's possible to change line weights after creation even if I "use at creation" Quote Link to comment
gScott
it's buggered + very irritating. the work-around is to select each window/door, one by one, and set the line weight in the attributes palette to 'nothing'. then the "part line style" settings will show. start clicking.... samb'ham
Okay....! That's kind of odd - but it worked! Thanks so much for the reply. Quote Link to comment
samb'ham
Would someone from Vectorworks please respond to this question? I'm sure this "work-around" is not what you had in mind. Quote Link to comment
