P Retondo
We can't join a line to an object that is part of a symbol, or a group. It would increase productivity to have that ability. We can create an inner boundary polygon against an object that is part of a group, but not an object that is part of a symbol. We cannot create an inner boundary when the whole area is not visible on the screen. If possible, correcting these limitations would be much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
0 eric.rktek
One other joining issue I'd like to see is arcs and curved walls. It would be really helpful to be able to join lines to arcs, etc. I know you can extend and trim to get things to work, but joining would be faster, easier, and better. Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
Eric, we can join arcs and lines using the "Connect" tool, although I find that to do this successfully in dual connect mode it is sometimes necessary to click on the arc first, then the line. Also, it seems to give the desired results only on one side of the arc in certain situations - in other words, the tool needs some more work. I agree that it would be great to be able to join to walls of all kinds. Quote Link to comment
