DR
Is there a way to preview prints or plots prior to actually printing similar to what you might find in Word, or Photoshop? Quote Link to comment
Ken
The aptly called "PRINT PREVIEW" does exactly that, but is a Mac feature. Quote Link to comment
David Bertrand
Can you export to a PDF and then view it in Acrobat on a PC? Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
No, not like Word or Photoshop. It's on the wishlist though: http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB20&Number=66016 Quote Link to comment
DR
Yes I can do this, but it wont do what I want. It's really an issue with my plotter. My staff is having trouble imputting page sizes correct and the plotter is cutting off part of the drawing. We were looking for a way to preview before sending to the plotter. Quote Link to comment
DR
Thanks, I was trying to find the wish list earlier. Quote Link to comment

Check the menu "Page/Set Print Area" to see if the sheet is fitting within the page boundary. If not, you may have to reduce the sheet size slightly. For example, a standard sheet D size of 22"x34" may be a little too big, and may have to be reduced to 21.66"x33.16", or whatever, to make it fit. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Looks like live previews in the print dialogue box will be supported natively in the next version of Mac OS X, so us Mac users, at least, won't need this feature built into VW: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=30074 All we'd need from NNA is support for it built into the Batch Print dialogue as well.
