Was doing the 12.5 install on Mac OS 10.4.7 and after the progress bar indicated 1 of 2 was comlete, I got an error message saying there was an error backing up wprkspaces, the install quit.
My concern is this. In the 12 directory, we created an ALIAS that points to a folder on our server that houses all of our workspaces. This is extremely handy as is does not limit the workstation we can work in and VW never had a problem with this setup fron VW10+.
Is this alias casuing a problem, as it tries to back up the workspaces? Permssions, as it is on a sharepoint on the server?
Are V12.0.1 workspaces compatable w/ 12.5.0? Can I remove the alias, insall 12.5 and add back our aliased workspace with the 12.0.1 spaces?
