Guest Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 In VectorWorks 12.5 Architect: When using the Data Stamp tool, is there any sort of built-in "refresh" button / mechanism? In order to update the time, date, or filename, I have to manually alter one of the settings in the object info palette in order for the data stamp information to update. (I usually just end up unchecking and then rechecking one of the boxes in the OIP.) It seems that there must be a smoother way to do this? Further, is there any known way to have this information automatically update when I send the file to print? The vectorworks help menu doesn't seem to have any information on this tool from what I can tell. Thanks for any feedback! Emily Quote Link to comment
Mark McCay-Moran Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 I like the potential for this tool and asked the same question with no response some time ago. I've since stopped using it because there were numerous times that I had forgotten to manually updated and the dates didn't coordinate with revisions etc. Quote Link to comment
