lunarnoodle
I am new to VW and dongles. I am installing Designer 12 to a PC with Win XP. I installed program discs. Installing from CDs. All discs loaded, told me to insert disc one and dongle and restart to complete. I did. No prompt at restart so I just looked around on disc one, saw the Net Licence folder and installed the dongle drivers and utility from there. Still no prompt. Opening dongle utilities leads me no where. Restartd again to see if drivers needed it. Still nothing. VW folder is empty. How do I tell VW that I have a dongle and I am ready to CAD it up? I need a step by step because I am lost. Been at this for hours. Have a b licence...in case that's necessary. Also, installed dongle as a service as per read me... in case that's important, too. 0 Guest
You should just need to plug the dongle in and launch VW. Quote Link to comment
0 lunarnoodle
I should, but...I can't. VW program folder is empty. Tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling and I got nothin'. Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
If the folder is empty, then the installation did not complete. What version installer are you using? You may want to contact TS directly to resolve this problem quickly. tech@nemetschek.net 4100-290-5114 Quote Link to comment
