Robb
Does anyone know how to texture (or color) the individual parts of a door or window? For example I woud like to model chrome (mirror) door handles. The sme question applies to other paramtetric objects such as tables. I am using Renderworks. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Robb
Use the 'view' tab and select a style. Modify the appropiate class style #. You only have 15 TOTAL for paramettric objects so be careful! Quote Link to comment
Ethan R.
Hmm.. Why can't I get the mapping preferences for the door object? I need to adjust the scale of the map used. On the class leval, you can't adjust the map either .. Quote Link to comment
Robb
Sorry I am still new to VW, but I would not be suprised by this. There mapping of materials to objects is a tad weak. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Yes, the inability to change texture mapping (direction & scale) for classes and for many types of (and parts of) objects is a huge shortcoming. The only workaround I have found is to create a new texture which is rotated 90?. This, however, is a gigantic time-eater. Quote Link to comment
