Editting Windows and Generating Schedule

I am having problems editting the windows on my drawing. I click on the window and none of buttons below the"Flip" and "Position" buttoms appear anymore. I am trying to generate a window schedule and am not getting any of the windows listed.

When you select the window, does the top of the Object Info Palette say "Symbol", "Window", or "Window in Wall"

Are you using the window tool in VW 12 to place the windows?

Since I haven't heard back from you, (I was not sure if you received the other replies) so am rewriting what I wrote in the other replies. Have you modified the window tool in any way?

Are you using a US version of the software?

I guess what I meant in my last post was that I have modified the window ID shape and color. I put it in the class for window spec. I don't see my reply to you so I will also repeat that I am using the US version.

it sounds as if something is wrong. Have you moved your VectorWorks from the application folder? Have you deleted anything from the application folder?

What changes have you made to your computer recently?

The fact that it says custom object in wall, leads me to believe someone has been changed about the window tool itself.

Are you sure you are using the window tool and not Window Simple Tool or something like that?

What happens in a new document?
