Sketches_Design_LLC
Little red squares, at points where I start/end dimension strings, are visible in drawing I can not "click" on these little red squares. I can not find the "class" they reside in to turn them off. How can I "turn off" these little red squares? Edited July 17, 2006 by Sketches_Design_LLC Quote Link to comment
Abacus
AJ, The little red squares indicate associative dimensioning. If you make changes to the object size/position, the associated dimension also changes. The red square indicates the dimension/object connection point. It does not print. You can turn associative dimensioning off under menu File: Document settings: Document Preferences. Gene Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
You can also toggle their visibility through View / Show / Display or Hide Constraints. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
why do you want to turn off the red sqaures? They don?t print and they indicate which dimensions are associated. If you want to continue to use associative dimensioning, but just want to turn off the red squares then: 1. Open the VectorWorks Preferences. From the Menu Bar choose Tools > Options > VectorWorks Preferences... 2. From the Display Tab turn off: Show Parametric Constraints Quote Link to comment
