Dongal Problems

I just recently installed my copy of VW 11 onto a new computer, and Windows can't seem to install the dongal. Any suggestions?

Are you getting an error message?

Does the light on the dongle light up when you plug it in?

Was the dongle unplugged while installing and then plugged in once the installation completed?

Did you restart the computer after that?

What version of VW 11 are you installing?

What OS are you installing this on?

Are you getting an error message?

Yes. It says updated dongal Drivers need to be installed, restart vectorworks after doing so.

Does the light on the dongle light up when you plug it in?

No

Was the dongle unplugged while installing and then plugged in once the installation completed? Yes

Did you restart the computer after that? Yes

What version of VW 11 are you installing? VW11

What OS are you installing this on?

XP Pro Service Pack 2

Unplug the dongle and close all open applications

Go here: http://aladdin.com/support/hasp/hasp4/enduser.asp and download the first item in the table

You'll need to download/install/run the application. When you see a screen that says finished from Aladdin, click on Finished.

Plug the dongle in

Restart the computer

Launch VW

Unfortunately our database and email is down. We don't have an expected time when everything will be up and running again. We had a pretty major lightning storm and knocked everything out.
