rotate reference / snap grid

I'm working on a drawing that is rotated from the usual X, Y grid. How can I rotate my reference grid so my horizontal and vertical snaps work with it?

Not knowing the version you are using I can't be more specific. It's in the Units dialog.

Go to the Snap Pallette and double click on the Grid Snap icon - in the dialog box you can set the Grid Angle to whatever you need. (You can also access the grid dialg box through Set Grid.. on the Pages menu.)

You may also need to reset the drawing origin to make the rotated grid useful. This can be done through Set Origin on the Pages menu. If you need to return the grid to its original location later place a 2D locus at this point and lock it in place prior to moving the origin. You will then be able to use this locus as a reference point to reset the origin to.
