carpalmer
So I've updated to a super setup: XP Pro / dual chore AMD Athlon 64FX, 3G RAM, etc, etc... rendering times are down, but I'm getting some strange things happening... my 'Custom Quality RW" (set to Medium Qty) are showing some areas see thru (yes, the element is set to solid)and I can see the paper grid showing through. Its happened with a few elements on the drawing, and I found that if the object had a texture I could"fix" this by applying a color to it on the attributes palette (instead of plain white)... but these elements do not have a texture and I want them white! What kind of glitch is this? Anyone having same problem? Very curiously awaiting reply, Carpalmer Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted May 26, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 26, 2006 Hello carpalmer: Are you rendering in viewports? By default these have no fill, and for bitmaps with no fill white is considered to be transparent, so the grid shows through. You can give them a fill if you don't want the grid to show, although it won't affect printed output as long as the page is white. HTH, Quote Link to comment
