Tom Grabowski
Is it possible to insert instruments in a plot and have them be a different color? I have a base set of instruments that stay hung all the time and I was wondering if there was a way to have the instrument that are added for a specific show to be color coded differently than the base instruments. That would make it easier to hang the show. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted February 18, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 18, 2004 There are two ways. 1) Create a second set of symbols in another color. 2)Draw your additional instruments on another layer. Then you can choose to Gray other Layers or choose to use layer color. Quote Link to comment
Tom Grabowski
The layer solution didn't work but I did it by using a "specials" label legend with text in a different color. I'll see if that works Quote Link to comment
Ziska
Is creating symbols in another color a way to get a black instrument into a renderworks sketch? (currently they are all light grey) Ziska Quote Link to comment
Hunter B
Ziska, I've found that if I "edit" the symbol and make sure all the parts are filled and textured they do read as black in RW...you can also make them silver or aluminum but then you have to create a copy of the original and manipulate that. Ziska
Hunter, I've tried editing the symbol from the resource browser- and from the object info- neither one worked when I went to "final renderworks" (Still makin' my own sweeps here...) ??? Ziska Quote Link to comment
