Networked Vectorworks - Hasp BroadCast

MacSztor

Question

Currently running 20 User licence on Vectorworks 11.

The Hasp is installed on server.

Users on same VLAN pick up Hasp BroadCast.

All works as it should.

Problem

Due to network migration, Hasp will now be on a server on a different VLAN from users.

Question

What port does the Hasp broadcast out on?

Am I correct in thinking 80?

Thanks in advance

MacSztor,

I am going to set up lab with VW networked. Is there some information on how to do this? I will have 12-18 computers connected to routers that feed into the school network. I was planning on putting the Hasp on one of the computers in the room. Does it need to be on a specific one? I am also setting up a plotter on the network. Can people in the school, outside my classroom use VW with my licence? I have a couple of other teachers that are interested in using it.

Is there a resource for information?

Thanks

Jim

Contact tech support directly and they can give you detailed information.

In general, any of the machines in the computer room can act as the key server, and you allow other computers outside the room to run VW. The computers must be on the same subnet and there are some additional configurations that need to me made.
