Soft shadows in Renderworks

Yes - know they do exist - after turning off transparency in Custom Renderworks (a bug I believe) but there is no control of softness and they don't look very nice...

Radiosity gives better control of shadows, including softer shadows. Have you tried using radiosity at all?

Yes I have tried Radiosity and know it quite well too. But you don't always want the renderering overhead of Radiosity...

All the other rendering solutions that I know very well - Artlantis, FormZ and Cinema 4D all have both soft shadows and Radiosity with bags of control..

As I said in another post though - well done for the implementation of Radiosity it is one of the best out there!
